Dues and Donations
We realize that the yearly dues of our
members do not cover all of the expenses of the congregation. Nonetheless,
we choose to keep dues at a reasonable level and defray the expenses of the
Congregation including the maintenance of the synagogue building, through our
fundraising activities. Please... honor a friend, share a simcha, remember a loved one or even celebrate a birthday or anniversary
by making a donation to one of our funds:
Make
a donation to the General Fund - Our very important source of funding,
bridging the gap over and above dues and enabling Beth-El to maintain the full
scope of services and activities..
Donate to the Rabbi's
Discretionary Fund - the Rabbi's fund is used by him to assist those
in need or as he may otherwise deem appropriate in the performance of his
responsibilities.
Make a donation to the
Hazzan's Fund - the Hazzan's fund is used by him in fashion similar to the
Rabbi's Fund.
Donate to the Prayer Book Fund
- this fund helps defray the cost of upkeep and for the purchase of new religious
books, including prayer books for the congregation.
Make a donation to the Sanford Black Memorial Fund
- Sandy Black was dedicated to Congregation Beth-El. An active and
tireless worker, mentor, counsel and past president of the congregation, his
memory is honored by donations to this fund, which are used to benefit Congregation Beth-El.
Donate to the Lillian & Sidney Greenfader Memorial Fund
- The memories of our beloved members Lillian and Sidney Greenfader are honored
by donations to this fund which are used to defray the cost of the congregation.
Make a
Donation to the George Cohen Memorial Education Fund - This fund was
established to honor the memory of a beloved parent whose commitment to
Jewish education is memorialized by donations which promote and maintain our religious
school.
Donate to the Milton Star Hebrew High School Memorial Fund
- Milton Star was a great supporter of our religious school. Donations to
the fund established in his honor help students defray the cost of attending our
innovative Hebrew High School program.
